Capacity Building & Training

 

2006: Supporting the European SPAMGO train-the-trainer programme for the new training centre in Tblissi, Georgia: facilitating a course development workshop on communication and knowledge management with Adelphi Research, Berlin.  www.adelphi-research.de

2005/2006: Conducting a training in multi-stakeholder processes for the leadership group of the International Standard Association's process on Social Responsibility (ISO SR), under the auspices of the American National Standards Institute (August 2005). Broadening the training to include Working Group and Task Group leaders, led by the Swedish Standard Institute (January 2006).

 

Previous activities included: Coordinating and facilitating capacity building workshops for NGOs, women's networks and others, on sustainable development, gender issues, international policy-making processes, lobbying, networking and mentoring. Examples include:

Togo: West African Regional NGO Meeting; a workshop with representatives from non-government organisations from 8 West-African countries, co-hosted by Les Amis de la Terre, Togo, and UNED Forum (2000)
