learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.
Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve.
You don't have to have a college degree to serve.
You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve.
You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.
Even a superficial look at history reveals that no social
advance
rolls in on the wheels of inevitability, it comes through the tireless efforts
and persistent work of dedicated individuals.
Without this hard work, time itself becomes an ally of the primitive forces
of irrational emotionalism and social stagnation.
Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the
revolutionary spirit and
go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty,
racism, and militarism.
A nation that continues year after year to spend more
money on military
defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.
